Grandchildren are life's way of saying, "Slow down!" Our grandson, Kyler, delighted us this weekend while his parents went to Sedona for a wedding. It was perfect - they visited the cottage for the first time; we spoiled Kyler rotten!
I really missed the relaxation and energy I get in Sedona. Next weekend we'll take a new bed up there along with some flooring materials. Yeah - no more college life futon. We can also shower and cook. Woo hoo! Maybe I'll bake some chocolate chip cookies. Hurry up weekend, get here quick!
Thanksgiving dinner at the cottage with family might be possible if we get the flooring finished in the living room. That would be fun!
Oh yeah...after all the real spider webs I've been dealing with for the past 2 months, I can't stand seeing fake spider webs all over the place for Halloween decorations. STOP!
